When I met Anna for our consultation I saw that she was a bit shy with me and unsure of what she wanted. I started to give her ideas of locations and show her clothing options and we soon had a plan. Much to my surprise on shoot day, her outfits were just adorable. Well thought out and so fun and trendy!
Anna started of shy and felt awkward which is very normal I told her. Once she copied my posing and I got her laughing, she was on a roll. Every shot got better and better and her personality started to come out with me. I loved every outfit she picked for her session and couldn't wait to take her to locations that complimented them. We had the best time, lots of laughs and by the end of the day her last Free People dress was a showstopper. It got pretty cold, 45 degrees and although she had goose bumps everywhere
she still had a smile on her face. Well her gallery was one of my favorites with all the styles, colors and pretty light. Congrats Anna for being one of my most featured seniors on Senior Photographers sites in the US. It was a pleasure to be your photographer!
“Thank you for making my daughter feel like a model. It was awesome! Thank you for the beautiful pictures and for at least a moment of making my daughter feel beautiful"
I love when I meet a guy who has his own ideas and knows what he wants during his session. When I met Grayson to plan his session, I soon realized this kid has great style and loved shoes!
This guy has quite a story! I learned so much about Grayson and what means the most to him. First, how he help refurbish his vintage 1989 Toyota Landcruiser that he currently drives. We brought it on the shoot to get some cool shots with it. He will want to remember his high school truck in his photos when he looks back on them someday. I also learned how he has a large collection of shoes. He had ones to match every look, and they finished off every set perfectly. I was impressed! He just found out he will be attending NC State next year in the engineering program with biomedical intent. This was a goal of his and coming from a Wolfpack family I know he is pretty excited about it. We had to shoot at the NC State Library and rooftop to end our session since State has a fond place in their families heart. It was a first for me, and I was impressed!
"Kerri made Grayson feel comfortable in front of the camera, and that is not easy! She took the time to really make this a personal experience; he enjoyed the process and the results. We are looking forward to having Kerri help us create family memories for years to come"
I loved Anna Graces style and vision for her session. She had picked the best clothes for her locations in downtown Raleigh.
This new location was so much fun and the light was perfect! Anna Grace had the perfect top to allow the light to shine through it. What about the hot pink heels? This outfit is everything and was perfect for the roof.
"I had so much fun throughout my day with Kerri. She picked the perfect poses and places to bring out my personality in each picture. I loved how she planned out each location to go perfectly with my outfit. I was so excited to see all my pictures."
I love when I get to meet new seniors and their moms during the style consult. This is when I hear about your vision for your session and get to know you. Maddy came pretty prepared with her outfits all planned, her vision boards and hairstyles! This was a first for me since most seniors have no idea what they want or what to wear.
Maddy would step out of the back seat of her mom's car dressed to the nine. She had every detail covered from amazing outfits, jewelry and shoes. She was so much fun to work with and I loved seeing her hair styled for each look she had planned. We ventured to downtown Raleigh and ended on a rooftop. We had the best day and her gallery is one of my favorites this year so far.
"I cannot say enough about how special our day was with Kerri. This is not just a senior photography session this is a true magical experience for your senior. A day for them to celebrate, be pampered and feel special. She went above and beyond to make this day one we will never forget. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!"
Iya was on my daughters cheer team in high school and was one of the "littles" that always looked up to the Varsity Cheerleaders. I had the pleasure of photographing her older sister, and when it was Iya's turn for her senior session I couldn't wait! She is a full of life, big personality and I love when my seniors are energetic and fun.
We had the best day capturing Iya and her big personality. I don't know if it's a cheer thing, but she has no problem laughing on command, doing the cat walk and spinning till I get the shot. She was a master at doing her own hair and looked like she had a team working on her all day. Her makeup had been done by one of my stylists, Dee who does a stellar job. It lasted and looked this amazing throughout the entire day. This was such a fun session and an even more fun Reveal! Her family flipped over her images and I was so happy Iya was in love with them!
"Shooting my session with Kerri was the best experience! The laughs shared and the bond created made the shoot so easy and genuine. She made me feel so comfortable in front of the camera which allowed me for some great pictures!
Thank you for the best day!"
"I’m so thankful I got to take my senior pictures with Kerri O’Brien! With being in the class of 2020 many of the normal senior festivities were cancelled. Kerri was constantly updating me to make sure I was still able to have an amazing session! The whole process was as smooth as ever. She pays so much attention to the little details which makes all the difference.
Finding the right outfits and accessories to match can seem very stressful, but with Kerri’s style closet I had nothing to worry about! I had so much fun during my session and I can’t wait to see my reveal! Truly the best in the biz.
Sophia's session was booked right when the Stay At Home order was announced during the Pandemic. Though we rescheduled a few times, I would occasionally check in with them with reassurance that I would not cancel her session like so many of her senior year festivities were. The day finally came and it was a beautiful one! She had the best weather, a vacant city to shoot in, and great outfits. A little help from my style closet put the finishing touches on her with accessories and she looked like she was modeling for Vogue. Sophia just had her Reveal Session and they loved her gallery as much as I did. It was one of the highlights of her senior year and it sure brought a smile to her face, and mine!
"We are so thankful to Kerri for salvaging our crazy Senior Year with these beautiful Senior Portraits. Our sessions were some of the only normal things that happened for our graduate. Thankful for her knowledge, her photographic eye, her hair and makeup team and how much she cares about her Seniors. We've already booked a session for our 2021 graduate and will do the same with our daughter who graduates in 2022!"
